what did zidane do with Bordeaux? never even won a French league 1 tournament in 4 years. zidane is nothing without henry, lizarazu, dugary, trezeguet, emanuel peitit, robert pires, anelka, thuram , viera, makelele, he only won the world cup thanks to them. he’s overrated. he did useless tricks all the time and everyone wet their pants. . baldane never proved himself outside good teams . I would have played just like zidane next to those amazing players. Baldane is overrated.

Zidane is a playmaker who controls pretty much everything and sets up all the players.Messi is a winger/striker who depends on other players( ie Xavi) in order to set him up. Second, skill and techinque wise Zidane is Superior the only thing messi is has over zizou is that he is much quicker.

messi is very good, the best player of his generation. dribbling-wise, messi is better than zidane, but i rather choose zidane over messi just because of his leadership and the fact that he can bring the best out of his teamates.
