The first dawn
I took a tripod with me to Marbella to take long exposure shots . . . I struggled out of bed well before dawn a couple of days after we arrived and went out on to a jetty on the west side of the sporting harbour to shoot the rising sun. Sadly I didn’t notice the lovely light burst on the left until I got home to Dublin and did not take any moire shots of it.
This was one of the last shots in which I was able to use mirror lock-up as my wireless remote control transmitter froze and I was unable to fix it. For the rest of the trip I used the two-second timer to take long exposures.
Details: Canon EF 16-35mm f2.8L II USM lens at 23mm, ISO 400 f18, 10 seconds.

My art teacher was late, because she slept in. Almost one and a half hour late!!!! Wow. But so I could take some pictures. This is our sports field and as you can see we got some snow!! =)
But it’s already melting again. Weather is so crazy these days!
