Doesn’t look like it on this occasion, but I’ve seen it done deliberately before in order to cause the opposition’s defence and wall to become disorganised. Giggs and Scholes once did a similar thing for Man Utd, but instead they both went to kick the ball, got in each others way and then I think it was Giggs quickly put the ball in after they turned away when no one was expecting it (I think they scored, too). Can’t find it on YouTube though.
It’s funny, but , I would blame the coaches more than the players. You can kinda tell which one was supposed to kick it by the way the other two ran.

@TheDubDoubt its the most watched sporting event in the “USA”. Soccer is the most watched event “WORLD WIDE”. The main difference is that MOST Americans who watch football never actually played the sport where “soccer” is a lifestyle in Europe and almost every fan plays it or has played it. Watch the atmosphere in the stadiums of a soccer game and compare it to the atmosphere of a football game. Soccer is just new to the U.S still.

@Penguinfication Tru, there was nothing wrong with it, but now we can at least just lay down and play it with out having to sit within the reach of the n64 controller cord length.

@Zeafoor There is one, and I have it. Its amazing I play it 24/7. It brings back all my childhood memories. I remember when I used to play the Legend of Zelda on my Gameboy Advance SP and now I’m playing it on my Nintendo 3DS(which I got just so I could play the Ocarina of Time). When I played it all those years ago I thought it couldn’t get any better, guess I was wrong.
